so heres what happened on the days that i missed:
wednesday july tenth two thousand two:
it was probably the hottest day in LA that day. the drive up felt so long because of the heat. me and linda were dying but i had a frozen h20 bottle that kept us cool. when we got there parking was insane $15! so we parked in compton past thet felix the cat and right by del taco. it was a really long walk in the heat! ahh when we got there we has to wait in an insanely long line. i was sweating like a hog. there were being nazis about things so i had avi take in my backpack.the search lady felt all the girls up. we heard trust company as we were walking in and they really suck. we walked around and around and saw the lising of the bands. we found the booth that we worked for and stated the selling magic. but it really wasnt magic. people in la and ventura had a lack in interst in buying really good and really cheap cds. me and linda and some other people were dancing in the middle to get people to come. avi dressed up in his super hero suit to get people but it didnt really help. people were mainly interested in body pericings and such and NGF. it was so funny b/c there these girls that were all like oh my god im going to call my agent to get to se if we could meet good charlotte and midtown. and liinda was like oh g.c. the girl got all defensive it was funny. a lot of girls liked the g.c in la it was sad. they got all defensive too b/c we kinda made fun of them. it was a hot long day. julio was there and apparently so was my friend from church but i didnt see him. lets see who else did i see? oh yeah the guys who worked the mountain dew place were rad! we pulled the tabs off the cans and they offered to get us in for free the next day and in ventura. there were lots of drunik people and lots of horney ones at that. and we didnt help them at all. but i have lots of green tabs. and i promised to make them bracelets. so i did. they were so nice and gave us free sodas. and we new ahead of time that afi and the ataris were playing. when we left we got lost thanks to compton police. they told us to go down adams the thing is not how far/. we went down adams enitrely and decided to go to the exit where we came by. getting lost in comptom not fun. song of the day "walking in la"b/c people do in fact walk in la
thursday july eleventh two thousand two:
today was not so hot it was actually quite nice. it was cloudy in the morning and not so hot. we left a little earlier and we got there earlier. way earlier actually. we got gas and found parking in a nieghborhood. the walk was not so far and this time i wore shorts. the line not so long and the searching girl so nice. she let in my sharpie and my h20. and she didnt search me at all. then we walked around and got more free stuff. i gave the beacelet to the mountain dew guys but we had to make another one. lots of people told me to make them some or to sell them or they asked where i bought it. it was funny. i really only made a few for people that i though were cool. like rob, ther girl from the zine, the mountain dew guys, rick thorne. ahh.... linda and i were making these things b/c we had nothing else better to do. it was fun. i left to see ozma and allister and then i was waling around and i saw rick thorne. i grabbed my camera and went to the booth all excited. he signed a poster or me and we took a picture. the picute he signed was xXx the movie and it had vin diesel the guy i HATE but its signed by thorne so i love it. i showed him my bracelet abd asked if he wanted but he said it was cool but he likes it in black so i told him ill be back tomorrow and he gave me a fist thingy. i was the happiest person ever! but that doesnt compare to ventura. anyways in la we were left alone on several occasions. avi and rob left to see afi and then avi comes back to see the ataris and then rob comes late me and linda run to ataris. it was the smallest stage and the most crowded area. it was the smallest place that corner with a bunch of stages. i vowed never to go there again after i saw allister. i saw i boy that i love linda took a picture of him. fun times. and we got free sodas. love the mountain dew guys. they cleaned up and left at around 7is b/c it got boring. we got a buritto at the del taco and then decide to take adams again. but this time we ended up in the staples center. hahaha! lost in la again. fun but found our way. yum buritto from del taco.
friday july twelfth two thousand two:
finally back home. we left early with stephanie to sb. linda had to drop off something at the ucsb. you could kinda tell we were just out of high school. then we went to saxons house and i used the facilities and then we were off to seaside park. it was a really really really nice day. it was the same except that i knew a lot more people actually lots more people. everybody was so cool. we worked the mountain dew booth for an hour just pouring sodas for people. i got a random tip from some guy. he inspired me to become a bartender. then i sold cds. avi said his attention span was really off today. there were lots of cool kids. they were like yeah i have those cds. and i liked them! so that made me happy. i was the only one singing to gob. that made me laugh. then i met rick thorne and i gave him a red and silver tab bracelet that i promised. he really liked it. he gave me and linda two phone cards andf he autographed the picture we took together last year. he was really nice. and then i accidentaly forgot my camera at the booth and he cahsed me down for it. hes so nice. hes been my hero for a while but now hes just more my hero. lets see bard religion was good and no use for a name said that ventura was teh best day. so it was good.
